Our Story
Our founder Shirley moved to Vancouver with her family in 2018. Captivated by the sport and the picturesque beaches, serene lakes, and winding rivers of BC on a rented paddleboard, Shirley became a certified SUP instructor to share her newfound passion with others.
Shirley's first paddleboard cost well over $1,000—a significant investment for an average family. While still having her first paddleboard, Shirley wanted to create something accessible and reliable for everyone to enjoy. That is when she established our very own Dolphin Paddleboards in 2022.
Our seasoned team of designers, boasting over 20 years of experience, collaborated with world-renowned manufacturers to produce our unique paddleboards. Our stringent quality control processes ensure that every product meets the highest standards of safety and durability. We are dedicated to providing you with the best quality paddleboards, so you can enjoy the sport with peace of mind. We were consumers once ourselves, and we have been frustrated by implosion, flimsy construction, air leakage (safety concerns!), and all that prevents paddlers from enjoying the insanely beautiful nature around us.
